Beyond Engagement Fatigue: Navigating Burnout for Communities and Practitioners

Explore strategies to move beyond burnout and build engagement that heals, empowers, and sustains both communities and the practitioners who make a difference.

Communities are increasingly stretched thin by constant demands on their time and energy, leading to disengagement and burnout. So, how do we move from exhausting demands to meaningful, sustainable engagement that truly respects community capacity? Can we move from taking and asking to giving and acknowledging? This webinar goes beyond identifying the problem, it provides practical strategies for breaking the cycle.

Join Max Hardy, Founder and Director at Max Hardy Consulting; Engagement Mentor, Trainer, and Practitioner, alongside Leanne Robb, Community Engagement Specialist and IAP2 Trainer from Social Pinpoint, for an insightful one-hour session on engagement fatigue.

In this focused session, we’ll explore:

  • Practical and ethical strategies to reduce stress in engagement processes, foster trust, and close the loop with communities in ways that respect their energy and input.
  • How to tackle the challenges faced by practitioners, offering insights into how they can navigate burnout and create lasting change.
