Practical & Passionate Community Engagement

Our Guest:

Jonny Wineberg is a professionally qualified Youth & Community Worker, Lecturer in Youth Work & Management and Consultant for not-for-profit organisations. He has worked in all three sectors of the economy, in the Private Sector in Sales & Marketing for Procter & Gamble; in Local Government as Deputy Principal Youth Officer at Manchester City Council and, for 30 years, in the Voluntary, Community & Faith Sector as a volunteer, worker, manager, trainer and capacity builder.

In 2012 he established Community Futures Trust CIC with the aim of supporting many more organisations and has worked with well over 100 non-profit organisations in the last decade. He is also, currently, Director of Operations for the #WeStandTogether charity, working to bring together all faiths along with disability, homeless, LGBT, women’s and other groups to challenge hatred and intolerance, celebrate difference and build a safer and stronger UK.

Social Pinpoint

In our webinar:

  • We will identify and tackle barriers to empowering people and organisations and how to use practical and creative methods to engage people.
  • We will also show how to use the ‘PASSION’ checklist to increase the effectiveness of empowerment activities and how to help people from local communities lead on engagement with their peers.

We have completed the Social Pinpoint Public Participation for our Regional Transportation Plan.  In my opinion, this was the best Public Outreach that has ever occurred here in the area

I loved working with you last time so it’s a no brainer I’ll be using Social Pinpoint again
