VicRoads are looking at ways to improve Traralgon’s road network so traffic can flow more safely and continuously through the town. Currently, traffic volumes are causing bottlenecks and delays on the road network, particularly along the Princes Highway. VicRoads are investigating potential solutions for a safer and more efficient traffic link for Gippsland’s growing communities, heavy vehicles and visitors to the region.
This planning project will also identify solutions to improve safety and amenity in the Traralgon township.
To get a better understanding of the challenges affecting motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, VicRoads want to hear from the community about their:
- experiences on the Princes Highway in Traralgon
- concerns about specific locations along the Princes Highway in Traralgon and suggestions to improve safety and traffic flow along this road
- thoughts about the route of the proposed Traralgon Bypass
