VicRoads are investigating improvements to increase safety and capacity to meet the growth of the City, and provide better travel for tourists and freight movement.
In September 2017, the Victorian Government announced $3.5 million to find solutions to the increased traffic in the area, including active transport options.
VicRoads are gathering feedback via a Social Pinpoint interactive map to help identify key themes and issues that the community and road users face. They will use this information to develop plans to address capacity and safety issues along this busy road. They want to know about safety, traffic flow and access issues on the road network and suggestions for improvement.
