South of Gray’s Lake Master Plan

The South of Gray’s Lake Master Plan is a component of the greater Southwest Infrastructure and Planning Study being completed by the City of Des Moines. The purpose of the master plan is to create a detailed master plan for the potential future redevelopment of the area south of Gray’s Lake Park.

To help identify a vision for the area south of Gray’s Lake Park in Des Moines, Iowa, an interactive website has been set up with Social Pinpoint. Gray’s Lake Park is a highly coveted gem within the Des Moines metro area. The South of Gray’s Lake Study Area is a key potential redevelopment site. The site is well suited for a mixture of uses given its proximity to Gray’s Lake Park, regional trails, key transportation routes as well as Downtown Des Moines.

The community has the option to map their ideas, vote on images, and complete a short survey.
