This project, as part of the Parks for People program, aims to preserve and enhance Nandi Reserve, making it accessible for the benefit of the wider community, now and into the future.
The beautiful bushland and established trees at the site are an important part of the local identity and highly valued by the community. The aim is to establish a new vision for this site and make sure we create a great place for people while respecting and preserving the natural setting.
The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment understand, from previous engagement, and in working closely with Northern Beaches Council, that the community values the bushland character and vegetated forest in the area along with spaces to play and be active.
This project and any concept designs will aim to preserve and enhance these values while exploring opportunities to provide better access and uses for everyone to enjoy.
A Social Pinpoint landing page has been created to help drive engagement and house information for public feedback.
