Latin Stories Australia – Building Bridges

View Project Map >

Latin Stories Australia in conjunction with independent curator Dr Antonio González and artist Yunuen Pérez will launch the exhibition From Latin American Stories to Victorian History: Building Bridges on November 2018 at No Vacancy gallery in QV building, Melbourne.

We are asking members of the Latin American community to share their stories with us. We want to know what they do every day to make Victoria a great place. By uncovering these stories, Building Bridges aims to identify key historical moments and contributions from the Latin American community in the history of Victoria. We want the Latin American community in Victoria to help determine what be will included in the exhibition. So, if you are Latin American, and you have contributed to the history of Victoria, we want to hear from you!

Following the online collation of stories, the curators and Latin Stories Australia will develop the exhibition that seeks to celebrate the wonderful impact of the Latin American community on Victoria’s rich history, as well as its achievements and deeds, assuring ongoing legacy for next generations.

We invite people from Latin America to continue building bridges with us.
