County of Frontenac, Ontario – Active Transportation Plan

View Project Map >

The County of Frontenac is preparing an Active Transportation Plan (ATP) to develop a realistic, feasible and implementable blueprint for the planning, design and implementation of non-motorized routes, infrastructure and promotion. The ATP will guide decision-making, coordination and collaboration between Council, local municipal staff, community partners and residents.

Frontenac County is using online engagement to gather information from residents on their active transportation experiences. Within their interactive map, they are inviting residents to leave their comments on destinations they like to walk or bike to, suggested location for new/improved crosswalks, where conditions for walking could be improved, where conditions for cycling could be improved, where they have seen bikes, and any general comments.
